Golden Milk

A comforting and healthy drink made by warming milk with a teaspoon of turmeric powder, a pinch of black pepper, and a sweetener of your choice like honey or cinnamon.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, whisk together the milk, turmeric, cinnamon, and black pepper.
  2. Warm the mixture over medium heat until it's hot but not boiling.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the honey or maple syrup if using.
  4. Pour into a mug and enjoy.
