Golden Milk
A comforting and healthy drink made by warming milk with a teaspoon of turmeric powder, a pinch of black pepper, and a sweetener of your choice like honey or cinnamon.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- A pinch of black pepper
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, whisk together the milk, turmeric, cinnamon, and black pepper.
- Warm the mixture over medium heat until it's hot but not boiling.
- Remove from heat and stir in the honey or maple syrup if using.
- Pour into a mug and enjoy.
