Spicy Chicken Roast

A delicious and spicy dry chicken dish, perfect as an appetizer or a side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken, cut into small pieces
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 3 tbsp Chicken Masala
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken pieces with Chicken Masala, turmeric powder, pepper powder, and salt. Set aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add the marinated chicken and fry until it's cooked and golden brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed. Sauté the onions until golden.
  4. Add ginger-garlic paste and curry leaves, and sauté for a minute.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft.
  6. Return the fried chicken to the pan and mix well, coating it with the onion-tomato mixture.
  7. Roast on low heat for another 5-10 minutes until the masala is dry and sticks to the chicken.
  8. Serve hot.
